Special Project (8)
Refer to Assignment FIVE, Great Lakes.
Research one of the favorite fish from the Great Lakes region as shown in that lesson.
*Write a paragraph that tells at least three or four things you learned about the fish you chose.
Remember to start with a topic sentence telling what the other sentences will be about. Include three to four facts and end with a summary sentence to tie it altogether. :) Also draw and color a picture of the fish. Remember to send me a copy of it. :) Remember to draw and color neatly. This project is worth 100 points. :) Upload your drawing to the file box on the project page. :)
**Use good writing skills and formulate your sentences into a well organized paragraph. Remember to use capitals and periods correctly. Be sure your sentences make sense.***
Alternate Test
DO NOT TAKE THE TEST! :) INSTEAD FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS:
Click HERE to visit the map website. You will return it often so you might want to bookmark it in your favorites.
Play this game to learn the states and their location. Go through all the states at least once (or twice) today.
During the next five school days you will use this website for your daily history assignment instead of moving on to the next unit. EACH DAY after you visit the site use the Ask for Help note box to let me know how many minutes you worked on the map and how you think you are doing with learning the states and their locations. Remember you will be doing this for the next five days. : ) Then for the rest of the semester you will need to visit this site each day for at east 10 minutes during your history time after you complete your regular assignment. :)
Have your parent EMAIL me at [email protected] to let me know you have practiced and will continue to practice each day during history time. :)
