Project:
Book Report -- Short Story
You will need to take a few days to complete this. While you are reading the book and working on your report, you may continue to complete one new language arts lesson each day.
Choose a book (short story/chapter book) you have never read before. Type the title of the book and the number of pages it has, along with the author IN THE ASK FOR HELP NOTE so I can see what you are working on. You may use this for your daily reading time on your Reading Log.
After reading your book you will write a book report according to the directions on the OW page. Your short story report will have three sections. Use the ideas and questions from the OW lesson page to help you think and write. You will write a three paragraph report. ***Use good writing skills and formulate your sentences into three well organized paragraphs. Remember to use capitals and periods correctly. Be sure your sentences make sense.***
Then draw a picture showing your favorite part of the story. Make sure to include one or two sentences to describe the scene and tell why it is your favorite.
REMEMBER THIS IS WORTH 100 POINTS SO WRITE WELL, AND DRAW AND COLOR NEATLY. :)
