Project: Aquarium - Follow the directions below.
Project: Aquarium- (5)
Learn from researching. First choose a fish from the list on the OW page that you would like to learn more about. Research the fish that you chose and write a short paragraph about what you learn. Your paragraph should begin with a topic sentence. Additional sentences should give more detail about the topic, and you should have a summary sentence at the end. Use proper grammar, punctuation, capitalization, etc. Make sure to proofread with a parent.
(For full points remember to include your first draft and your final draft, along with the picture you draw.)
Then draw and color a picture of the fish you wrote about paying special attention to details. Upload the file with your report and picture of your colored drawing to the project page in the file area. Remember this project is worth 100 points! :) Do your best work to earn the most points. :)
Added note:
Anytime you do research and then use that information to write a paper, you need to tell your readers where you found the information you used for your report. These are called sources. You must "site your sources" to give credit to the person who first shared the information. For now you may just add a Sources page to your project. Add a second page (Sources:). Type the title and author of any book you used. Type the URL (website address - copy and paste) along with the title of the page and the author's name (if given).
Later we will learn how to make a real Works Cited page but for now we will start by making a Sources page.
